Karla Brandenburg grew up reading gothic romance and Stephen King horror novels. A fan of Creature Features and classic horror movies (not the slasher flicks commonly labeled as such), she became an award-winning author of cozy ghost stories and also contemporary romance novels which include paranormal elements. She is an avid reader across multiple genres and is a card-carrying cookie-holic (we all have our vices).
